Australian flood losses to exceed A$6.2bn: Perils

The Eastern Australia floods, which happened between 20 February and 11 March, are set to rack up more than A$6.29bn ($4.33bn) in industry losses, according to a report from Perils.

The updated loss figure is based on detailed loss data by postcode and line of business and has been collected from most of the Australian insurance market.
