Hurricane Ian has made a second landfall near Georgetown, South Carolina, as a Category 1 storm with maximum sustained winds of 85 mph (140 km/h).

It hit at around 14:05 ET on Friday and is currently moving north at 15 mph, according to the National Hurricane Center (NHC).
