NICB identifies nearly half a million claims related to Hurricane Ian

Massive destruction on Fort Myers Beach aftermath Hurricane Ian

Roughly half a million, or 471,581, claims have been filed related to Hurricane Ian, of which 431,702 have been reported in Florida, according to the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB).

Nearly two-thirds of the Florida claims are homeowner and business claims (272,465), and the remaining are personal automobile claims (151,892).
