Southern Australia storms’ estimated loss drops to A$972mn: Perils

Loss data firm Perils has reduced its final estimate for the southern Australia severe storms, which occurred between 28 October and 30 October 2021.

The loss estimate is now A$972mn ($623mn), down from the previous estimate of A$1.016bn, which was released in May 2022, six months after the event.
