Hiscox is anticipating no new ILS inflows this year, owing to investor “reticence” about putting more capital into the system, Hiscox CEO Aki Hussain said.

Speaking on the release of the firm’s Q3 earnings result, Hussain outlined three reasons for investors holding back, the first being that “the last five years have not been good years for the reinsurance market”.
