AUM Asset Management has launched the ILS Ocean Fund, the first ILS vehicle linked to a Barbados captive.

With $10mn of share capital, the Ocean fund will take a cut of the Barbados captive company in which it is invested, Ocean Re, taking a vertical cut of all lines of business excluding life.
