ILS appetite down for 2023 among ‘wait and see’ cohort

ILS appetite is expected to be reduced for 2023 among investors who took a “wait and see” approach to 2022, owing to Hurricane Ian losses, Australian consultancy Frontier Advisors has said.

In a paper on ILS sector consequences of Ian, Frontier wrote that investor sentiment “continues to be challenged by recent performance”.
