Munich Re is aiming for a consolidated profit of around EUR4bn ($4.03bn) for the 2023 financial year under the new International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS 17).

Insurance revenues are expected to reach around EUR58bn, and the return on investment will amount to at least 2.2%,
