Munich Re has renewed the first portion of its Eden Re sidecar for 2023, listing $17.5mn of Class A notes on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.

The size is less than half the $42.1mn renewed in December last year for 2022, which was itself below that of the equivalent December issuance the year before at $55mn.
