Munich Re sidecar Eden Re shrinks by 31% to $131.1mn for 2023

Munich Re’s sidecar Eden Re has fallen in size by 31% to $131.1mn for the 2023, with the final number confirmed after $113.6mn of Class B notes were issued on the Bermuda Stock Exchange yesterday.

The first tranche, $17.5mn of Class A notes, issued in December, had shown a drop of 58% compared with December 2021’s Class A issuance.
