Investment advisory firm Cambridge Associates expects “great performance” from ILS in 2023, as the higher yields witnessed last year, especially for industry-linked warranties (ILWs), translate into returns.

The firm’s 2023 outlook tempered its upbeat view with the caveat that “investors clearly need to review the asset class on a regular basis, as it backstops property against the risks of climate change and global warming”.
