Athene has raised $2bn for the second edition of its Apollo/Athene Dedicated Investment Program (ADIP) sidecar, with the funds to be invested, alongside Athene, into Athene Co-Invest Reinsurance Affiliate (ACRA).

The fundraise puts Athene in a position of having $7bn in deployable capital with which it can pursue opportunities in the life market.
