Hannover Re grows P&C Re top line by 20.3% to EUR4.7bn in Q4

Hannover Re has recorded a 20.3% increase in P&C gross written premium (GWP) to EUR4.7bn ($5bn) for Q4 2022 over the prior-year quarter, as group GWP climbed 14.4% to EUR7bn.

The P&C Re segment’s operating profit improved by 3% to EUR464.8mn, while its combined ratio added 4.1 points to reach 101.2%
