HCI CFO James Harmsworth said the carrier has adjusted its ultimate Hurricane Ian loss down by roughly 15% to $825mn after evaluating the claim development.

On the firm’s Q4 earnings call, the executive added: “We're getting more comfortable that the impact of the storm is significantly less than expected.
