Nephila's Lloyd's Syndicate 2357 increased profits by 240% to $189mn and sliced 29 points off its combined ratio to hit 57.5% for 2022, down from 86.5% in 2021.

The result continues the upswing in performance last year when the syndicate posted its first underwriting profit since 2016.
