Japanese carrier Zenkyoren is targeting $200mn in earthquake coverage via its Nakama Re 2022 cat bond – a notable reduction from its 2021 high point in cat bond issuance of $775mn, this publication can reveal.

The agricultural insurance mutual is seeking $50mn in Class 1 notes at a spread of 2.75% and $150mn in Class 2 notes at a spread of 4%-4.5%.
