Inflationary pressures pushed European windstorm exposure up 11.7% in 2022 during a “dynamic” year for the industry, according to loss aggregator Perils.

The exposure growth was 11.7% on a constant-currency basis, whereas, in US dollar terms, it came in at only 4% due to the currency’s appreciation over 2022.
