Hiscox ILS capital contracts $148mn in Q1 to $1.8bn

Hiscox Re & ILS said it experienced net outflows of $148.4mn in the quarter, taking ILS assets under management back to $1.8bn.

The reinsurer said the scarcity of ILS capital coming into the market, however, had contributed to an ongoing positive rating environment.
