Allstate nationwide excess cat programme expands to $6.92bn for 2023

Allstate has announced the renewal of three of its major reinsurance coverages, including the $6.92bn-limit nationwide excess cat programme – a 4.6% increase on last year’s limit.

As last year, the nationwide programme has a $500mn retention. Five multi-year traditional reinsurance contracts provide coverage up to $4.25bn
