Pricing on both property and casualty business increased at the mid-year reinsurance renewals compared to a year ago, but capacity was more readily available than at 1 January, according to Aon.

In its mid-year Reinsurance Market Dynamics report, the intermediary said “a sense of order” returned to the renewals after this year’s turbulent 1 January.
