ILS capital rebounds 7.5% in Q1: Aon

Aon estimated that ILS capital rose by 7%, or $7bn, to reach a new peak of $100bn by the end of Q1, with overall reinsurer capital up 5%, or $30bn, to $605bn.

Traditional equity capital rebounded 5%, or $23bn, to $505bn due to retained earnings and recovering asset values.
