Former Primary Group and AIG executive Paul Jewell and private equity house Flexpoint Ford have partnered to launch a hybrid fronting carrier focused on the UK market.

The business, which has between £50mn and £100mn ($63.5mn-$127mn) of equity capital, secured approval from the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA).
