Farmers Insurance has advised the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (OIR) that it will no longer offer Farmers-branded auto, home and umbrella policies in Florida.

“This business decision was necessary to effectively manage risk exposure,” a spokesperson told Inside P&C on Tuesday.

The decision applies only to policies issued through the company’s exclusive agency distribution channel.
