Embattled ILS InsurTech Vesttoo has taken the “painful” decision to let go some of its employees as it looks to steady its course following allegations of fraud.

The company became engulfed in controversy last month when problems emerged relating to letters of credit (LOCs) used as collateral in some of its transactions.
