Allstate’s Florida cat program cut by 20% to $1.3bn

Allstate has reduced its Florida excess catastrophe reinsurance program to top out at $1.285bn, down from $1.831bn of coverage attained in last year’s tower.

Sanders Re catastrophe bond coverage comprises the top two layers, with $300mn of Class A notes excess $360mn, placed in May, and $150mn of Class A notes excess $40mn, placed in May 2022.
