The board of ILS InsurTech Vesttoo has named board member Ami Barlev as its new interim CEO, while confirming the exit of former CEO Yaniv Bertele, as it attempts to weather a crisis that continues to impact reinsurance brokers, fronting companies and MGAs.

Vesttoo’s announcement said that Barlev has served as chairman and CEO of a number of public and private companies in sectors ranging from tech and AI to aviation and real estate.
