Fitch revises global reinsurance sector outlook to ‘improving’

Fitch Ratings has revised its global reinsurance sector outlook to ‘improving’ from ‘neutral’ to reflect the sector’s improved performance into 2024.

The ratings agency said the change was as a result of “high pricing discipline driving a hard market, rising investment yields and a strong demand for reinsurance protection”.
