CEA sets final pricing of Ursa Re cat bond at $230mn

The California Earthquake Authority (CEA) has priced its Ursa Re cat bond with the final size at $230mn, at the higher end of the offering, Trading Risk understands.

Initially, the CEA sought to raise $150mn with the cat bond, which covers earthquake perils in California on an annual aggregate basis.
