Axis Capital’s ceded premiums to strategic partners rise 253% in Q3

Axis Capital reported a 253% increase year on year in premiums ceded to other strategic capital partners in Q3 2023, after setting up a new casualty sidecar.

Ceded premiums: Premiums ceded to other strategic capital partners grew to $304.3mn from $86.1mn, in part down to a quota-share retrocession agreement it entered in September with Monarch Point Re.
