Ben Masel, head of corporate development, investments and treasury at R&Q, who also oversaw its legacy sidecar Gibson Re, has resigned from the carrier.

According to a post on his LinkedIn, Masel will rejoin BlackRock as head of strategy for the FIG Americas business.
