Hiscox Re & ILS has received a redemption by end-investor the Future Fund, Australia’s sovereign wealth fund, which is understood to be sized at around $300mn-$500mn, this publication can reveal.

The firm was recently notified of the redemption, although it is not clear whether this constitutes a full or a partial redemption of Future Fund’s allocation to the manager, according to sources.
