IAG adds A$500mn of limit, bringing main cat treaty to A$10.5bn

Insurance Australia Group (IAG) has added A$500mn ($337mn) of limit to its main cat treaty, bringing the total cover to A$10.5bn for 2024, up from A$10bn last year.

The treaty provides cover for two events up to A$10.5bn, attaching at A$500mn. The attachment point remains level with that of last year, when it had doubled over 2022.
