Baillie Gifford has increased its ILS holdings by around 53% during 2023 to £185.7mn ($236mn) across four funds, as the hard reinsurance market took hold.

Baillie Gifford invests in the sector via two UK-based funds, the Diversified Growth Fund and Sustainable Multi-Asset Fund, where ILS holdings were £169.2mn
